Solahart keeps UN in hot water
Solahart Italy was recently selected to supply solar water heaters to critical United Nations (UN) missions around the globe.
The solar water heating systems will be fitted into UN emergency accommodation, ready to be air lifted or sea freighted into trouble spots around the world. The Solahart units will be temporarily stored inside the accommodation units during shipping.
Once they reach their destination the panels and tanks will be placed on pre-fitted mounting points on the roofs. Solahart models were selected by the international peace keeping organisation for their longevity, reliability and their ability to perform in any extreme of climate – from the harshest of winter temperatures to the hottest of deserts.
More than one million Solahart solar water heaters have been installed
in more than 80 countries, with a diverse range of installations
including the Mount Everest base camp, the Antarctic, the World
Heritage site of Vigan in the Philippines, resorts in Kenya and
Zanzibar, luxury hotels in Dubai, the Mussaid Al Saud Palace in Riyadh,
and Nelson Mandela’s private home in Houghton, South Africa.
